There will be stars all the way on award-winning tour operator, Global Gypsies’, new astronomy tag-along-tour!

This tour is a first of its kind for Western Australia and will be the beginning of more stargazing and astronomy tourism offerings to come.

February’s Astronomy Tag-Along-Tour will take in astronomical sights from Gingin to Cervantes, Jurien Bay and Moora. Along the way you’ll meet and hear from astronomy guides, view through telescopes and discover night landscape photography from local astrophotographers.

Stargazing will be a highlight in the evenings with plenty of activities and outings during the days.

The tour will end with a look into WA’s Astrotourism future. Carol Redford, Founder of Astrotourism WA, will join the tour on the final evening in Moora. You’ll discover why WA is so good for stargazing and astronomy activities and how communities in the Wheatbelt and Mid West regions are helping to protect and promote WA’s world-class dark night sky.
