Only 9kms from Darkan is historic Hillman Siding. There aren’t any facilities, however you’ll be certain to find a dark night sky away from any town light.
Feel free to use the picnic table and chairs. There is also a cement pad nearby that can be used to set up telescopes.
If you happen to be staying at the Darkan Caravan Park and don’t want to venture too far from town, you’ll be able to find a dark place in or nearby where you’re welcome to set up and enjoy a night of stargazing.
