The Morawa Caravan Park is on the northern edge of town which means you can find darker places for casual observing with telescopes and not be too far from your accommodation.

Adjoining the caravan park to the north is a large area of Shire-owned land. The Shire also welcomes visitors to use this area as a casual observing place. There are several tracks that cross through this land. It’s a good idea to explore the area during the day to choose your site before your night of observing.
