What an incredible landscape to photograph under the Milky Way night sky! These structures take the Spinifex Termites hundreds of years to build and they are just waiting for you and your camera when the sky is right. There are literally hundreds of termite mounds. You’ll need a 4WD if you plan to explore the tracks surrounding them. However, you can park at the small information bay and walk to the nearby termite mounds. The site is 10km from Onslow on the main road out. You’ll pass them on the way in from the NW Costal Highway.
