Ready for a stellar night under the stars in Perenjori? Use the Giant Planisphere, stargaze through telescopes and be amazed as Astrotourism WA and Star Tracks Astro Events astronomy guides use green lasers to point out the nighttime constellations. You’ll also hear about how WA is protecting its world-class dark night sky from Carol Redford, Founder of Astrotourism WA.

There’s even a lucky door prize! We’ll be giving away a Sky-Watcher Heritage Mini Dobsonian. The lucky winner will be able to learn how to use it on the night.

When: 7:00pm to 9pm, 28th September

Where: Perenjori Caravan Park, 137 Crossing Street, Perenjori

What to bring: BYO chairs, picnics, drinks, torches, warm clothes, fly net and insect repellent. 

Bookings: Free community event. Light refreshments will be served.

7.00pm – 7.30pm | Astrotourism WA Presentation and lucky door prize!

7.30pm – 8.00pm | Laser Guided Tour and Stargazing through telescopes

This event will go ahead rain, hail or shine. In the case of wet weather, an alternate presentations and interactive activities will be run.
