The stargazing night, on the 27th September, at this special festival starts with free family fun and folk-pop singer Romy B at the Cervantes Primary School Amphitheatre. Then it’s out under the stars for Aboriginal Astronomy, a spectacular green laser pointer tour of the constellations and viewing through telescopes.
If you want to extend your weekend getaway, drive up earlier on 26th September to attend the Art Exhibition Opening Night. It’s on from 6pm on 26th September at the Cervantes Community and Recreational Centre, Aragon Street, Cervantes. The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 4pm to the 5th October, 2025.
While you’re staying in town, take a drive around Cervantes to see the street art entries. The theme is very spacey! You might see rockets, space-ships and Star Wars or Star Trek characters!
Throughout the festival there are also some crafty and spacey workshops for children and daily demonstrations from local artist Rick Krieg as he paints live.
