Join the fun of a magical evening under the stars at Fauntleroy Park, Jurien Bay! Bring your family, friends and a picnic, settle in for some live music, and watch the night sky come alive.
Music starts from 5.30pm while you enjoy a picnic and watch the sun go down. At 6.30pm, a local guide will take visitors for an interpretive walk along the coastal dunes to spot the unique flora and fauna of the area. Kids who join the walk have the chance to win a prize!
The stargazing starts at 7pm. Marvel at a green laser pointer tour of the night sky and discover the stars and constellations above. Fantastic telescopes will be set up for everyone to enjoy a closer look at the wonders of the Universe including spectacular Saturn, star clusters, stunning Venus and much more.
Bring your picnic, find a spot on the grass and make an evening of it! Whether you’re a keen stargazer, a nature lover or simply curious about what’s above us, everyone is welcome.
The guided walk is part of the WA Parks Foundation Spring into Parks initiative, supported by Lotterywest.

What to bring: Please bring torches, chairs, warm clothes, fly net and insect repellent. You don’t need a telescope or binoculars but if you have them, bring them along!
