Quobba is 75kms north of Carnarvon and is known for the famous Quobba Blowholes and the imposing “King Waves Kill” sign. If you find yourself camping overnight at the camping area, a terrific feature for a nightscape image is the lighthouse. There are two tracks up to the lighthouse. The track from Blowholes Road is accessible by two-wheel drive. Standing under the lighthouse and looking up to the Milky Way is quite spellbinding! The imposing structure seems to reach up and touch the stars!
