Carnamah became an Astrotourism Town in July 2018. During the first visit on 19 July 2018, we met an incredible group of people from the Shire of Carnamah, North Midlands Project and some wonderful local community members dedicated to making Carnamah a terrific place to visit. The town’s street lighting is very low and there are some great places for stargazing and photography. Many of the historic buildings have been restored making the town a great place to walk around.
